It is our

Nepal
Police School (NPS) Dharan run under Nepal Police Welfare Fund and Labor
Cost Contributed by Police Personnel, established in 2045 B.S. as a non -
profit making institution aims at producing honest, capable, diligent,
disciplined and productive citizens through quality education at affordable
cost to the children of dedicated police personnel in the service of country
and countrymen, immortal policemen who received a breakthrough in the line of
duty and former policemen along with ordinary citizens. This institution
enrolls 60% and 40% students of police personnel and civilians respectively.
NPS Dharan
is an amalgamation of academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular excellence.
It has implemented recent teaching approaches, methods, techniques and
innovative strategies. It contributes to the various exposures viz. identification
of multiple intelligences in students, implementation of reformed pedagogy,
incorporation of ICT in learning, introducing techno-friendly classrooms and so
on. The students here are evaluated with regard to formative and summative
evaluation. Continuous Assessment System is highly marked. The school has fully
been able to complete academic session with annual work plan, daily lesson
plan, and yearly teaching plan according to the planned academic calendar.
We feel
privileged that this unique success of our institution is recognized all over
the country by successful completion of more than three decades. This long
journey of the institution could never have been accomplished without the
collective endeavor of the excellent school administration, esteemed principals
and camp commandants, tireless and innovative teachers, enterprising students, valued parents and guardians, stake holders and well
wishers of the institution.
